We are Trees-in-Kenya, an organisation that seeks to save the planet by planting trees. We seek individuals , firms, governments and non profit organisations who wish to plant trees in order to save the planet and we plant and maintain the trees to maturity on their behalf. Trees are essential in combating climate change and ensuring the regeneration, protection and restoration of the environment. Our operations are primarily focused on the African country of Kenya which has only 2% tree cover. This shortage in tree coverage coupled with climate has led to many negative consequences such a drought and famine. Africa and its flora and fauna suffers a disproportionate share of the effects of climate change due to its low carbon emissions rating. We are trying to ensure that Africa also plays a major role in the mitigation of climate change and its effects on mother Earth.
